Why are adults choosing organized programs abroad?
No one can answer this question better than AFSNext Returnee Deb P., who traveled with AFSNext to Morocco in her 50s: “I was an American in my 50s reaching the twilight of my professional career… I found the perfect combination of adventure and meaningful activity through AFSNext…I would absolutely consider another AFSNext experience because it uniquely offers a way to give back with the opportunity to see new parts of the world and experience local cultures in an intimate way.” Read Deb’s full blog post about her experience abroad here.

You will engage in one-on-one educational lessons for girls and women, orchestrate alternative income or health workshops, or work in local educational centers.
